Day 1: Kigali City Tour – Volcanoes National Park
Pick up from the Airport upon arrival and transfer you to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at:

Day 2: City Tour- Volcanoes National Park.
After breakfast, visit the genocide memorial site and national museum. After lunch drive to the Volcanoes national park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Spend the evening at Iby’wachu Cultural Village where you will learn more about the Banyarwanda cultural practices and their tradition. Dinner and overnight at:

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking
After breakfast, short brief before tracking. The tour guide will transfer you to the starting point of the gorilla’s trail along with other trackers. Upon encountering the gorillas, spend at least hour taking photography and observing their fascinating acrobatics. In the evening, you may go for a cultural walk, where you will be entertained by the Banyarwanda community, or go for a nature walk to the lakes and caves. Dinner and overnight at:

Day 4: Dian Fossey Hike- Transfer to Lake Kivu
After breakfast, you may undertake a hike up to the Karisoke research center, established by Dian Fossey. Learn more about the activities of Dian Fossey of mountain gorilla connervation. On return, you will transfer you to Lake Kivu. Dinner and overnight at:

Day 5: Lake Kivu- Nyungwe
In the morning after breakfast, transfer to Nyungwe with en route stopovers for photography and lunch. Dinner and overnight at:

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking- Kigali
After breakfast transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before embarking on chimp tracking; later transfer back to Kigali to catch your flight back home. Meals: Lunch and dinner.
